Sliderz vs SumUp: take payment without handing over a percentage

SumUp takes payment fast, and takes its commission on every card that goes through. Sliderz is POS software that connects the payment terminal to your own bank account: no percentage on your sales, and a single subscription for your whole shop.

  • Zero Sliderz commission: your card takings land in your own account
  • One till for stock, loyalty and accounting
  • All-in-one tablet, with built-in printer and payment terminal

A percentage for life, or a fixed-cost subscription.

SumUp and Sliderz can both take a card payment and keep a till journal. The real difference is elsewhere: SumUp charges a percentage on every transaction, and stacks up subscriptions (Payments Plus, Caisse Plus, Factures Plus) to turn on the advanced features. Sliderz works the other way round: a fixed-cost POS subscription, and an optional payment terminal with no commission, plugged into your own bank account.

With SumUp, you add up:

  • 1.75% on every in-store card transaction (free Pay-as-you-go plan)
  • Or 0.89% per card plus €19/month for the Payments Plus subscription, to bring that percentage down
  • €39/month for Caisse Plus, to turn on barcode scanning and the advanced features
  • €10/month for Factures Plus if you invoice your customers separately
  • A printer, a cash drawer and a scanner to buy on top, in a kit costing up to €649

SumUp seul

With Sliderz, you pay:

  • A POS subscription from €29/month, with no percentage on your sales
  • An optional payment terminal at €19/month, connected to your bank account, zero Sliderz commission
  • Stock, variants and accounting export already included in the Standard plan
  • An all-in-one tablet on the Premium plan, with built-in printer, scanner and payment terminal
  • One tool, one price, one support team to call

Sliderz, tout-en-un

Three solid reasons to move to Sliderz.

SumUp gets you started fast. Sliderz holds up over time: your revenue climbs, your POS bill stays the same, and your back office keeps up when you go from one shop to several.

Take card payments with no percentage on top

The Sliderz payment terminal is connected straight to your bank account. At €19/month, with no percentage taken. Sell €5,000 or €50,000 in the month: your till costs the same. With SumUp, the more you sell on card, the higher the commission climbs: 1.75% by default, 0.89% with an extra €19/month subscription.

One till, not three subscriptions

Stock, loyalty and accounting export sit in the same Sliderz till. The Shopify, PrestaShop and WooCommerce connectors are available as options, and multi-store management runs through OrgaBusiness. No Caisse Plus, no Payments Plus, no Factures Plus to stack up to rebuild the equivalent.

Real retail software

Native variants (sizes, colors), rolling stocktakes, supplier EDI, stock transfers between shops, two-way e-commerce sync: Sliderz goes as deep as retail needs, where SumUp stays built for more generalist businesses.

What you gain when you leave SumUp for Sliderz

Take payment straight into your own account

A Saturday with €8,000 of card sales. On SumUp Pay-as-you-go, €140 of commission disappears over the day at 1.75%. With the Payments Plus subscription at 0.89%, that is still €71 gone, on top of the €19/month plan. With Sliderz, the payment terminal is connected to your bank account: €19 excl. VAT per month, and every euro you sell lands in your own account. What you pay for your till no longer depends on your volume.

  • No percentage taken, whatever your day looks like
  • Payment terminal built into the tablet: contactless and physical cards
  • Payouts into your own bank account

Everything in one till, not three subscriptions to stack up

To run a real shop on SumUp, the bill adds up: Caisse Plus at €39/month for barcode scanning and the advanced features, Payments Plus at €19/month to bring the commission down, Factures Plus at €10/month if you also invoice separately, and still a commission on every transaction. Sliderz works the other way round: the Standard plan at €39/month already carries stock, the CRM, analytics and dedicated support. The Premium plan at €79/month adds the full all-in-one tablet, with built-in printer and payment terminal.

  • Stock, loyalty, marketing and accounting in the same tool
  • Shopify, PrestaShop and WooCommerce connectors available as options
  • One contact, one invoice, one support team

Does Sliderz take a commission like SumUp?

No. The Sliderz payment terminal is connected straight to your bank account: you pay €19/month for the payment terminal option, with no percentage taken on your sales. Where SumUp charges 1.75% on Pay-as-you-go or 0.89% with its Payments Plus subscription at €19/month, Sliderz keeps your cost fixed, whatever your volume.

What does SumUp really cost next to Sliderz once you add up the options?

With SumUp, to get the equivalent of a real retail till, you add up several subscriptions: Payments Plus to bring the commission down (€19/month plus 0.89% per card), Caisse Plus for barcode scanning and the advanced features (€39/month), sometimes Factures Plus (€10/month). On top of that comes the commission on every transaction. With Sliderz, the Standard plan at €39/month covers the Sliderz POS software, the back office, loyalty points, the CRM and analytics, with no commission on your sales. The payment terminal is an option at €19/month, and the all-in-one tablet comes with the Premium plan at €79/month.

Will I lose my catalog when I leave SumUp?

No. We import your items, prices and VAT rates through a configurable Excel or CSV file, from your SumUp export. Your sales history and your loyalty points can be brought over too.

Is Sliderz built to run several shops?

Yes. Sliderz handles multi-store through OrgaBusiness, its network back office: shared stock, unified loyalty across locations, stock transfers between shops, consolidated reporting. Where SumUp stays built for a single shop, Sliderz scales from a single shop up to around ten locations.

Does Sliderz work without an internet connection?

Yes. Sliderz POS software is designed to keep taking payments in native offline mode. As soon as the connection is back, everything syncs automatically with the cloud, with no data lost.
